National Care Trust is a UK-registered charity (1184887) working across mental health, healthcare access and technology services for the care sector — with the mission of being “a safe place for every mind.” They came to us with a website that no longer reflected the depth of their work. We delivered a full redesign that gives the charity a confident, modern presence online and lets first-time visitors understand what they do and how to get involved within seconds.
People reaching out to a mental health charity are often doing so at a difficult moment. The website is the first impression of the organisation — it has to feel safe, credible and easy to navigate. National Care Trust’s previous site didn’t do that work for them: the design was dated, the structure didn’t make their core programmes obvious, and the visual identity didn’t reflect the breadth of services they offer (mental health support, accredited training, online consultations, IT services for care providers and a healthcare marketplace).
The brief was clear — a complete redesign that looks professional, communicates trust, and brings every programme to the surface without overwhelming the visitor.
We rebuilt the site from the ground up around how National Care Trust actually operates — clear pathways for someone seeking mental health support, for care providers looking at training and IT services, and for supporters wanting to become a member or donate. The new design uses a deep navy and teal palette (drawn from their existing brand mark) with generous whitespace and strong typography to feel calm, credible and professional.
Highlights of the engagement:
National Care Trust now has a website that looks and feels like the serious, established charity they are — one that someone reaching out for mental health support can trust at first glance, and that care providers and partners can engage with confidently. The redesign gives the team a foundation they can keep building on as their programmes grow.
